Some people are ignorant and unwilling to listen to music with substance and rather be spoon-fed shit filled music with no soul or meaning. I’m sorry, but Nicki Minaj isn’t as talented as Justin Vernon. Justin recorded his first album basically by himself, then with the money he made, builds his own studio, then write, records, sings, produces, mixes, masters, engineers, and promotes his second album. Then, when it’s released, sells over 100,000 copies in the first week. That is insane with the amount of illegal downloading going on in this day and age. Not too many people do that by themselves. Try it.

I am getting tattooed for four hours in Lansing. I’m excited about it. A little bit. So much so that I am posting it on here as if anyone cares about it, which they have no reason to. I hate pretentious people who think people should be interested in their daily happenings.

• Question: yea you asked the right person, The Roots have been my favorite band since I 11. I would honestly recommend that you have all their albums in your library but if I was to only recommend a few I would suggest starting with Illadelph Halflife to get a taste of their classic early organic jazzy hip-hop sounds. Next i would recommend Game Theory which is probably their most dark, political album and is probably my favorite album. Finally I would check out their last album 'Undun' to get caught up! - stayingunderground
